Opioid Education

With the constantly evolving environment surrounding opioid prescription and monitoring, these training sessions are designed to give current information on providing naloxone in a legal, safe and effective way, as well as information on Kansas law related to naloxone; data on utilization, misuse, and abuse; and reiterate the differences between tolerance, dependence, addiction, and drug reinforcement. Also learn about CDC prescribing guidelines related to pain management.
